QR code labels

A QR code label can be generated for every device, whether it was discovered automatically or entered by hand. The labels are themselves reports: format and content are customizable, and no specific printer is required. Scanning the code with a phone opens the device’s detail page directly, no app needed. The same inventory database sits underneath every format. A report is applied to whatever selection you’re currently viewing. A manual is running text where the fields come straight from the database instead of being pasted in. A dashboard shows the same values as a chart. Change something, and you change it in one place: on the network.

Both are built inside the program itself, not in Word: drag the fields you want into the structure, done. A document is tied to the query it sits under. The same template under “Windows Clients” therefore delivers different content than under “Server”, without anyone copying it.
