Do I need a special industry edition?
No. The product is always the same. Depending on the profile, architecture and licensing model differ: MSPs use the service provider license with tenant separation, government agencies use the on-premises installation in their own data center, and critical infrastructure operators combine inventory and vulnerability documentation.
Why does industry matter for IT asset management?
Discovery works the same way everywhere. The differences come from compliance requirements and the operating model: procurement law and BSI-Grundschutz for government agencies, NIS2 and the KRITIS Regulation for critical infrastructure, tenant separation for service providers.
