LOGINventory is licensed per Asset / Add-on Asset. This means that each successfully captured device (client, server, VM, network printer, switch, etc.) or manually created peripheral device (headset, docking station, monitor, etc.) requires a license. You can freely configure which devices should be captured and of course exclude devices from the capture. Later license extensions are possible at any time in increments of 25 (Assets) or 100 (Add-on Assets).
I would like to manage Assets Assets include all devices that can be captured automatically, such as Windows clients, servers, virtual machines, printers, switches, smartphones, and so on.
Monitors, Exchange mailboxes, Active Directory accounts or manually created peripheral devices are no assets. in LOGINventory.
I would like to manage Add-on Assets An Add-on Asset is any peripheral device that has been created manually, such as monitors, docking stations, headsets, webcams, keyboards, mice, etc., and is to be managed in LOGINventory.
LOGINventory reads information about connected monitors even without licensed add-on assets. However, if these devices are to be managed independently in LOGINventory, e.g. labels printed, prices stored, users assigned, Add-on Asset licenses are required. in LOGINventory.

Software Assurance (SWA) consists of the following services:
- Support (hotline, e-mail, helpdesk) for general support during operation, e.g. when creating your own queries and reports and for troubleshooting
- 60 minutes general remote consulting (e.g. "How can a license management process be established in your company?")
- Updates within the main version (mainly bugfixes)
- Upgrades to new major versions (e.g. from LOGINventory8 to LOGINventory9)The SWA may be terminated at the end of its term. After the end of the term, it costs 20% of the list price of the purchase variant including 1 year SWA per year.
