In Scenario 2. The typical MSP situation without a permanent VPN. Install two components on a single Windows device at the end customer: the Standalone Remote Scanner, which queries Windows, Linux, and macOS devices as well as network hardware and stores inventory data as `.inv` files locally; and the Offline Agent, which transfers these files encrypted via HTTPS to your central LOGINventory installation.

Incoming data lands exclusively in the database of the relevant tenant. Dedicated database, directory, and services per tenant structurally exclude data mixing. Queries, reports, and automation rules can be exported and imported between tenants. Configure once, reuse for every customer.

The Offline Agent transfers only data from Windows, Linux, and macOS devices. The Remote Scanner discovers network hardware, Active Directory, and Exchange directly. For these device types, Scenario 1 or an occasional on-site scan is required.
