Version 9.7 (July 9, 2026) – Released as part of LOGINventory Version 2026.1.2:

  • Improved error handling if no valid OfflineAgent.config is present during installation.
  • Fundamental changes to self-update behavior (detection of when a new update is available; how often installation is attempted; more extensive logging; prevention of unwanted restarts; use of a dedicated “Updater” folder; use of the account stored in the configuration)
  • Writing LastInventory.Method = OfflineAgent, to distinguish whether LOGINfo.exe was run locally (e.g. via a logon script) or as part of the Offline Agent.
