Build 9.11.2.19939 (Released on 07/09/2026):

  • Warranty data retrieval for HP is available again.
  • Windows Offline Agent version 9.7:
    • Improved error handling if no valid OfflineAgent.config is present during installation.
    • Fundamental changes to the self-update behavior: detection of when a new update is available; how often installation is attempted; more extensive logging; prevention of unwanted restarts; use of a separate “Updater” folder; use of the account stored in the configuration.
    • Writing LastInventory.Method = OfflineAgent to make it possible to distinguish whether LOGINfo.exe was executed locally, for example via logon script, or as part of the Offline Agent.
  • macOS Offline Agent:
    • Dark mode support in the setup.
    • Setup removes the previous version when installing over an existing installation.
    • Setup notarization.
  • Improved startup performance of the LOGINventory Management Center and the portable version: ngen optimizations are executed after setup, or after the first start in the case of the portable version, and should reduce startup time from the following start onward.
  • Consolidation of the LastInventory and InventoryInfo fields:
    • LastInventory.Agent now only contains the version number.
    • For Windows devices, LastInventory.Method contains information on whether the inventory was performed via NTLM or Kerberos in the case of Remote Procedure Calls (RPC).
    • LastInventory.Method no longer shows “WinReg” but “Scan (No WMI”) if the scan was performed without WMI, for example because the firewall blocked it.
    • InventoryInfo.Mode is no longer written; the relevant information can be found in InventoryInfo.Method.
  • Windows scan:
    • If retrieving whether pending Windows updates (OperatingSystem.UpdatesPending) exist fails, this no longer causes a general inventory error. Instead, the issue is logged in the debug log and the scan continues.
    • With the BlockNTLM switch, Kerberos is now also enforced when establishing the WMI connection, not only for the subsequent queries. This means that inventory collection also provides WMI data in environments where incoming NTLM is completely blocked by group policy (“Restrict NTLM: Incoming NTLM traffic = Deny all accounts”). More information is available in this German KB article.
  • Dark mode and gray mode: Adjusted display of the information (HTML) pages
  • Manual: language switcher, automatic dark mode detection, and search improvements.
  • Dashboards:
    • Custom properties can now also be used behind 1:1 navigations in the editor.
    • When editing dashboards, only entities that are reachable from the base table are displayed.
  • Exchange Server: Improved version detection for Server SE and various CUs.
  • Linux / macOS scan: Instead of maintaining all customizations in a single custom.xml, they can also be split across multiple files. To do this, any number of XML files can be placed in the /opt/loginfox/custom/ folder, for example custom2.xml, software.xml, etc. All *.xml files in this folder are automatically read in addition to custom.xml and processed in alphabetical order.
  • Web Interface: Installing an update no longer resets the authentication settings to the default.
  • Improved detection of Bios.Mode: more reliable detection of UEFI BIOS.
  • Stability improvements when running LOGINfo.exe locally without WMI. Cluster IP detection before scanning Windows computers has been improved.
  • Web Viewer:
    • Signatures in lifecycle entries are readable again in dark mode.
    • Stored photos for assets are visible again in dark mode.
    • Custom properties: presets are respected again when editing.
    • New option to clear custom properties for which presets are defined.
    • Dashboards in the web interface always respect filters applied at a higher level in the tree structure.
  • License Management:
    • The automatic nightly calculation no longer shows an error if there are no products in License Management.
    • Detected products for cloud subscriptions were filtered only by SKU ID, but not by tenant ID, which meant that consumer detection was not correct. This occurred with the current script for reading JetBrains licenses.
    • Licenses can now be deleted in queries, not only directly at the product or in the license assignment dialog.
  • Favorites in the tree structure:
    • Filter conditions from parent queries are respected.
    • Only queries and folders can now be added as favorites.
  • REST API: select statements for IDs are now possible.
  • Tasks: The “Test” button when configuring the email to be sent now works correctly again with OAuth.
  • SNMP v3: Correction when using the AES-192 protocol.
  • Creating the portable version: Unneeded files are no longer copied to the portable version directory.
  • Event Viewer: Truncate is no longer logged as a warning; the log level has been reduced to Verbose.
