For this, LOGINfo.exe is placed in a protected directory on the target device and is only transferred again when a new version is available.<\/li>\n<li>HTTPS is supported: <code data-epitaxy-inline-code=\"\">\/\/WinRmUseHttps 1<\/code> connects via port 5986, <code data-epitaxy-inline-code=\"\">\/\/WinRmPort<\/code> allows a different port, <code data-epitaxy-inline-code=\"\">\/\/WinRmSkipCertCheck<\/code> disables certificate validation if needed.<\/li>\n<li>Requires an active WinRM listener on the target device (port 5985 or 5986), enabled by default only on Windows Servers. Full details in the new documentation chapter <a href=\"https:\/\/www.loginventory.info\/documentation\/9\/en\/technical-details\/#remote-scan-with-winrm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Remote scan with WinRM<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Nothing changes for existing installations: without the new switches, the previous DCOM method still applies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><span class=\"cs-label cs-label-danger\">Breaking Change<\/span> <code>LastInventory.Method<\/code>:\n<div data-line=\"3\" data-line-type=\"context\" data-line-index=\"2\">For Windows devices, new values are now reported: instead of, for example, &#8220;RPC (Kerberos)&#8221;, it&#8217;s now &#8220;DCOM (Kerberos)&#8221;. Custom queries and filters that check for the previous values must be adjusted.
